Participation in the 25th Anniversary Commemorative Event of the Ramón y Cajal Programme

On 14 October, the 25th anniversary of the Ramón y Cajal Programme was celebrated in Madrid, marking a key milestone in the consolidation of scientific talent in Spain. The event took place at the Colegio de Médicos de Madrid and was presided over by the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant.

As part of the programme, I participated as a speaker in a roundtable discussion alongside other former Ramón y Cajal researchers, where they shared their experiences and reflected on the impact of the programme on their scientific careers.

Over the past 25 years, the Ramón y Cajal Programme has become a cornerstone in strengthening Spain’s scientific leadership, fostering the development of highly qualified research careers.
